First cousins Alexandra Wilkes and Leslie Townsend Decker have always had a love for design. The girls were born into a family of artists. So it was no surprise that they both felt the inevitable pull towards art and style. Leslie’s mom Beth Townsend gave the girls a box of vintage beads and they began to design earrings. They enjoyed making jewelry so much they decided to start their own business, and Alex & Lele was born in March of 2004. Alex & Lele’s first show was Mistletoe Marketplace, an annual show in Jackson, MS. They now sell to a variety of stores all over the south and continue to do Mistletoe and other trade shows. After three years of working out of their homes, they decided to open their first store. Alex & Lele boutique is located in Canton Mart Square. The store has a vintage charm with modern style and is full of unique jewelry and accessories. The designers are constantly creating new designs from their findings around the world. Come see us!
